UPDATE 6/04/2020: Due to the current situation with COVID-19, and to avoid confusion, we have taken the unusual step and withdrawn most roles as most organisations are temporarily closed or not accepting volunteers at the moment.

UPDATE 2/06/2020: As restrictions start to ease, we are seeing that community organisations (including HVC) are slowly opening their doors and recommencing volunteering operations to varying degrees. Whilst HVC is currently not conducting face-to-face interviews, we are doing phone and Zoom interviews and referrals for those that are interested in the roles that are currently listed.

Retail Op Shop Assistant

Description:
Local church is looking for people to work in their retail Op shop. Will involve cash handling. Helping customers in a pleasant and courteous manner. Will need a Working with Children check. This is a part-time position open Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 4:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 1:00 also separate position for sorting donated goods Mon 9:00am to 2:00pm. Volunteers can negotiate their working hours on a roster system.
